Terms of Service
Effective date: 12 October 2026
Acceptance
These terms govern your use of the FINDaTIME scheduling poll service at https://findatime.group (the "Service"), a service by FINDaTIME.group ("we", "us"). By using the Service, whether by creating a poll or by voting through a link you were sent, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The service
FINDaTIME lets a signed-in poll creator propose meeting time slots, invite participants by private link or email, collect their ranked preferences, and schedule the winning slot on the creator's Google Calendar. It is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. Voting needs no account.
Acceptable use
- Only add participants whose contact details you are entitled to use for arranging a meeting with them, and who would reasonably expect to hear from you.
- Do not use the Service to send bulk, unsolicited or marketing email, or to contact people who have asked you not to.
- Do not abuse the invitation feature, for example by creating polls solely to send email, by repeatedly re-sending invitations, or by entering misleading poll titles or descriptions.
- Do not use the Service for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or in a way that disrupts it for others, and do not try to access other people's polls, votes or voting links.
- Voting links are private to each participant. Anyone holding a link can vote as that participant, so pass them on with care.
- We limit the number of invitation emails a creator can send per day and how often the same participant can be emailed. We may lower those limits, suspend invitation sending, or suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, without notice.
Your content and responsibility
You keep ownership of the polls and information you enter. You allow us to store, process and transmit it solely to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Statement. You are responsible for what you enter, including the names and email addresses of the people you add, and for having the right to use them. When you schedule a poll, every participant is added to the calendar event and can see the other attendees' email addresses; add people only where that is appropriate.
Google services and calendar
Signing in uses Google through Firebase Authentication. Checking availability and scheduling use the Google Calendar API, under a separate permission you grant once and can revoke at any time from the Service or from your Google account settings. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's terms. The calendar event, its Google Meet link and the invitations Google sends are created on your calendar and under your Google account; we do not control how Google delivers them.
Advertising on the site
We may show advertisements served by Google AdSense on some pages. Advertisers and their content are chosen by Google, not by us, and an advertisement is not our endorsement. Your dealings with any advertiser are between you and them. Ads are never shown on the Privacy Statement, these Terms or the sign-in page, and no poll or Google user data is used to select them. See the Privacy Statement for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out.
Availability, no warranty, limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that emails or calendar invitations will be delivered, or that any data will be retained. We may change, suspend or end the Service, or any part of it, at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, missed or incorrectly scheduled meetings, or undelivered messages, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which is nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Statement. We may suspend or close an account, or delete a poll, that breaches these terms, or if we end the Service. Sections on your content, advertising, liability and governing law survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting the new version on this page and updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
